This was another VAD project where I was part of a team making a virtual set for an LED volume shoot to pull off some ICVFX.
I was responsible for the Mars-like planet scene from start to finish. I created the mountains in Gaea with a procedural terrain workflow, and processed the assets in Maya and ZBrush before taking them into the engine. I was responsible for the layout and set dressing of the scene as well as the overall look development. I sourced rocks from megascans and dressed them to stage, and adjusted their assets to fit for our purposes. I established lighting with the team, adjusting the lighting on the LED stage on the day.
