I was responsible for ingesting an internal film asset to use as a starting place for this build.  I took the spaceship pieces and kitbashed them into a new layout and design.  I added textures where needed and developed all of the shaders to achieve a photoreal look.  I worked closely with lightning and compositing to nail the look and feel of the surfaces.  A classic realistic NASA type design was our main inspiration for the look.   I used Maya to finalize the space station layout based on the previs of the project.  I managed all of those high-poly pieces and edited them to fit our new layout and shooting needs.

The lighting and shading were done in Houdini using Arnold. I used a mixture of procedural and hand-painting techniques.

In addition, I contributed to the motherboard asset that disassembles in the spot.
